So I'm working on the mini tote again today. Here is the bag and the first handle finished. I'm gonna try to finish the second handle and sew all the pieces together today.
Been working on this for about five hours now. It will be getting dark soon so I don't have much daylight left out here before I have to leave this beautiful spot outdoors. I gotta get back to work now while I still can. Another progress picture will be posted when I get home this evening. Later!
I've been working on this tote bag for a few hours now. My work slowed down a bit as I have been walking around the lake and I don't work as fast when I'm walking. I am a little over half finished with the bag now. Another progress picture on the way in one hour.
Boy that hour flew by quick! I've made good progress on this mini tote so far. I'm almost half finished with the body of the bag. It's looking cool so far. Check back in an hour for another progress picture.
I'm making a new mini tote bag today. Here is the base and first two rounds of the body. I will post a progress picture in one hour.
I put my yarn in a plastic bag and hung it on a tree limb low to the ground to hold it in place while I wind the yarn into a ball. Neat trick huh *smile*
This is my latest project currently in the making. I am using two different camouflage yarns to create a crocheted sack which eventually will turn into a backpack once I have made the flap and two straps. I am creating this based off of a similar pattern I did several years ago but I am rewriting the pattern as I go along to include details that I did not add before. This project is proving to be very strenuous and time consuming because it is worked holding two strands of yarn together and is being tightly stitched for durability. However I am loving the feel of the fabric I am creating and I like I look of the colors and how they are mixing together. I am making this so that I will have a cool looking bag to carry small knitting or crochet projects in but now I'm thinking I may make some more to sell. We'll see how that goes. I'll post another picture of this fun project soon.
